B.A. in Political Science with a Minor in Psychology
Having been raised in Southern California and obtaining a degree from the University of San Diego in political science, Dalton Pettus has developed what simply began as a familiarity with immigration law into a consuming and emphatic passion. His fervor for the subject is not something that only takes place at the office, nor would such a practice be in line with the law firm's established values - instead, he consistently does all he can to stay informed of the constant dynamics of the the U.S. immigration system, keeping himself updated on his nation's policies, and speaking out for a system that is open and just.
After graduating, Dalton combined his zeal for research and policy through a variety of jobs workings as columnist, both for his own website and for others. It was then that it became readily apparent that immigration stood out so prominently among his interests, the topic being such a frequent subject of his writings and analyses.
As fate would have it, it was not long after that he became aware of Powell Immigration Law PC, its executive attorney searching for an assistant to help with the management of its clients as well as its publications and media presence. Impressed by his experience and writing concerning complex topics such as immigration, attorney Powell hired Dalton and they've been working together ever since.
Under attorney Powell's guidance and instruction, it is through her extraordinary knowledge and adroit maneuvering of the U.S. immigration system that Dalton is able to assist in attaining the best possible outcomes for Powell Immigration Law PC's clients. He contributes to the law firm's mission not only through its skillful handling of the diverse cases it is presented with, but with an intense internalized desire that all prospective immigrants are provided with every opportunity to better their lives and secure a viable future, a right he believes to be inherent of all humanity. To be a part of a business that actively pursues this purpose for its clients, there is no experience more rewarding.
In his spare time, Dalton enjoys fitness, reading and writing, as well as the continuous honing of his education for informing his activism in the road ahead.
